What is a Birthbox?

A Birthbox is a curated collection of essentials to help birthing people thrive in the adjustment period after giving birth to a new baby. Each box is designed to accommodate your changing needs in the brief, but transformative period after giving birth; the fourth trimester.  There are four boxes in total. Each one designed around a theme. You may elect the Birth & Beyond subscription to receive all four, or purchase each box individually. Subscriptions come with multiple boxes. Individual boxes are labeled as such. Birthbox body products are also available to order without a subscription.

The Hospital Bag in a Box - Labor & Delivery

comes with everything the hospital doesn’t provide for the big day. Things like comfy socks, labor-ade to stay hydrated during the mother of all workouts, momwash our botanical water to soothe your sore parts, herbal tea blends to stimulate milk production, a tonic help your body recover and more self care products to make your hospital stay and transition home more comfortable. Staying in bed is really how you’re supposed to spend the majority of this time.

Recover Box - Month 1

To help with everything else, opt for the Recover box. It’s designed for your first month at home. Inside you’ll find a belly wrap to support your internal organs return to their pre-pregnancy position, some soft pajamas for lounging with baby or in front of visitors, a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated with minimal trips to the kitchen, and promo codes for help around the house, plus more.  During month two you and baby may start to visibly connect. You may also feel an urge to get outside.

The Relate box - Month 2

This box supports you on your adventures together. In the box are some serious mom life hacks to ease toting a new baby around like; a carrier, stroller hook, diaper bag organizer and our all-natural herbal blends to support milk production—if you’re breastfeeding—or tools for mastering the bottle feed if you’re not.

Rejoin Box - Month 3

In the third month the fourth trimester is nearly over. You’ve likely got a handle on giving baby baths, sucking snot and changing diapers for the little one by now. Time to devote energy to you again. The Rejoin box has things like toxin-free nail polish, the most comfy and effective compression garments you can find and all-natural, free and clear cleaning products for yourself and your home.
