The onboarding process into motherhood is broken. There aren’t enough easily accessible resources for new parents. Discovering and comparing the thousands of products available is a full-time commitment, and after learning about all the new baby things, there’s little energy left to prepare mama for the most important job of her life.

We don’t stop being who we were before we got pregnant, but very little attention is spent preparing mama to handle her newest title, in addition to everything else she is. Friend, lover, artist, entrepreneur, foodie, writer, insert title here. It’s a huge adjustment for everyone involved.

Birthbox eases the transition by focusing on the period some call the 4th trimester; labor, delivery and the first 3 months at home. The Birthbox is a monthly shipment of items that helps new parents heal their bodies, grow into a new role, and excel in this period of rapid transition after giving birth, adjusting to life with a new baby and returning to work. There are 4 birthboxes. Subscribe to receive them all or opt for individual deliveries when you need them most. We flex to support you however you need.

The products inside are all natural. And we connect you to community that offers the kind of help we can’t put in the mail. Like help with laundry, or finding your postpartum style. We make mom life easier so you have space to be the best mom you can and put your energy where it matters most, bonding with your new babe.

We believe

The period after labor and delivery is a sacred time that should have minimal interruptions from outside, including visitors.

There are a lot of good products out there. We put the best ones in this box to save you money and time.

Time is precious; an irreplaceable resource. Especially these first few months. Spend it building your bond, instead of shipping returns.

Fed is best. Breast may be ideal, but a nourished baby is a healthy baby.

You don’t stop being who you were before you a baby is born. Parenting is a “yes, and” activity.

There is power in asking for help. Be it around the house, or learning parent skills through guided instruction and observation.
