A Lactation Lounge with Milk Made & Vibes

There’s a chill in the air and the nights are getting longer. It’s the time of year to pull out the blankets, light some candles and cozy up with a warm beverage.

Add a little ginger to an infusion made with our Milk Made herbal tea blend to cozy up during these colder months. And if you live in the Bay, where the highs are still in the low 70’s, this drink is also delicious iced.

THE INGREDIENTS

  • 1 quart nettle infusion*

  • 2 tsp fresh ginger (peeled & sliced)

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 3 to 4 thin slices lemon

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine Milk Made infusion liquid, ginger and honey in a large pot. Bring to a boil.

Remove from heat, add the lemon slices and cover the pot. Steep for 24 hours, then strain off the solids.

Store in mason jar for up to 3 days.

*Note on infusing: Similar to brewing tea, infusing produces concentrated flavor. We like the infusion method for these herbs because the liquid produced is more nutrient dense than brewed tea.
